From Bridge Groups to Wild Game Suppers to Shopping Expeditions, adults at FBC can find something that meets their interests and provides Christian fellowship and spiritual growth. We have a number of lively fellowships and dozens of volunteer opportunities, from church committees to world-wide mission opportunities.

Bridge Groups
Every Sunday at 9:45, we meet in small groups throughout the church to discuss the Word of God and how God is working in our lives. Bridge Groups provide a place where you can meet friends in fellowship and work together for the glory of God.
Adult Choir and Praise Teams
Is making a joyful noise an important part of your worship life? Our choirs and praise teams always have room for more. Helping lead the praise worship at our Contemporary Service (8:30 AM Sundays), the Praise Teams are small groups of singers and musicians, performing contemporary hymns and songs of worship. At our traditional service (10:45 AM Sundays), our Adult Choir performs classic hymns and anthems of praise. Both groups participate in special programs throughout the year.
Musical groups meet weekly for practice and are under the overall direction of Chuck Bentley, FBC's music and worship minister.
Women's ministries

The Women's Ministry at First Baptist Church is comprised of women who love the Lord and strive to serve Him. Fellowship activities are planned and offered throughout the year to give women an opportunity to not only get to know one another, but to grow in their spiritual walk with the Lord.

Forever Young
Our seniors are special at FBC! Forever Young is our senior program, incorporating monthly luncheons and programs, along with monthly trips to other churches and special events. Sonya Caver coordinates this program and provides plenty of fun and special times for our seniors.
Missions
We have a number of on-going mission activities, including participation in programs through Samaritan's Purse, the Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong mission support programs, as well as our own Disaster Relief Mission Team. This team responds to regional emergencies such as hurricanes, tornadoes and floods with clean-up and food preparation teams. Our members also take part in mission trips sponsored by the Southern Baptist Convention throughout the region, the nation and the world.
